Site: Odyssey House Victoria has been a place of hope and positive change for individuals working towards breaking their pattern of addiction for over 40 years. They provide long-term, intensive residential treatment for individuals and families within a 143 bed Therapeutic Community. In addition, several other residential and community-based treatment and support services are also available to address drug and alcohol problems, along with any associated mental health, vocational, health, relationship and family issues.

Our work: This rehabilitation facility required updates and improvements to its existing site in Melbourne’s north-east. We built the framing and support for their additional portables and covered decking to link these to the existing buildings. Safety features were also applied including solid cement sheet panelling and improved handrails throughout. Our relatively minor works have made a major impact on this essential facility, increasing access for more Victorians.
