Our work with Reading Cinemas went regional with their new state of the art facility in Victoria’s south/east. Located within the Mantra/ Butter Factory complex, it houses 5 cinemas, a candy bar and foyer/ bar areas.

This new space in Eastland Shopping Centre was the first venue in Australia to host an outdoor rooftop in a shopping centre environment. We worked closely with the base builders, designers and centre management to deliver an exceptional product.

The Farm was a project from the owners of The Public Brewery Group. The site hosted an existing reception centre that had been through many fit-outs in its time and was due for a major refurbishment.

This site required updates to several areas within its site in Melbourne’s outer-east. Within the cinemas, we re-installed handrails and fittings to comply with current safety standards.

This location was due for an upgrade. Macwood Group collaborated to remodel and reignite this popular location with works to its Candy Bar and various smaller detailed areas. With relatively minor changes, this site is beautifully renewed.

To create a fresh, modern experience in this existing social environment, we completely redesigned and built the Entrance and Candy Bar. As with all Readings locations, these areas were designed to be unique to this location. We used tough, durable materials for longevity and sustainability.

Design
Our team of skilled designers will build your project on paper, incorporating your ideas with our industry knowledge to flesh out your project. Meeting on-site for a comprehensive assessment, we’ll review your options in more detail to determine how space can best meet your needs. As part of the site inspection, we’ll ensure it complies with all current building, fire and access regulations. Where alterations are required, we’ll evaluate how they can be implemented whilst minimising the impact on the function and form of the design.
Quotation
Once the design is finalised and specified, we’ll prepare a detailed quote for the work covering all structural and cosmetic modifications. Your quote will include estimates for all elements of the project.
Build
We will project manage your site from start to finish. Our team of skilled designers and tradespeople execute detailed projects efficiently with a polished product in mind. From a standard layout to more unique environments, we can also build bespoke elements to suit your space.
